  • Alarm Settings: Wake time, repeat preferences, selected alarm sound, and alarm status
  • Location Data: Your device's GPS coordinates (only when you grant permission) to display accurate local weather
  • Photos: Photos you take during the AI photo verification challenge are analyzed locally and not stored on our servers
  • Feedback: Any feedback or ratings you submit through the in-app feedback widget
  • Usage Data: App interactions and feature usage for improving our service

2. Location Data

WakeSmart requests location permission to provide weather forecasts and outfit recommendations tailored to your location. If you deny location access, the app displays Auckland, New Zealand weather as a default. Location data is not stored on our servers — it's used in real-time only for weather API calls.

3. Photo Data

Photos taken during the AI photo verification challenge are processed locally on your device using computer vision. We do not store, transmit, or retain any photos. Analysis happens entirely offline.

4. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Account authentication is handled securely through Base44's authentication infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Open-Meteo API: Provides weather data. Your location coordinates are sent to their service.
  • Base44 Backend: Handles authentication and data storage with industry-standard security

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only shared with service providers (weather API) necessary to deliver the app's functionality.

7. Your Rights
